Mr. McKinney Y. T. Tsai
Mr. McKinney Y. T. Tsai is Chairman of the Mega International Commercial Bank. Prior to joining ICBC, Mr. Tsai was President of the Taiwan Cooperative Bank, and before that, he was Executive Vice President of Chiao Tung Bank. Mr. Tsai also served the government in various capacities. He was with the Bureau of Monetary Affairs under the Ministry of Finance, as Director of the International Banking Division; Director of the Domestic Banking Division, Director of the Planning and Regulation Division, and eventually Deputy Director General of the Bureau. He was also Assistant Director at the Department of Control and Evaluation Research, Development and Evaluation Commission of the Executive Yuan. Mr. Tsai obtained his MA from the Department of Public Finance at the National Chengchi University. ˇ@
Ms. Susan S. Chang
Mrs. Susan S. Chang is Chairperson of Bank of Taiwan. She is also the current Chairperson of the Bankers Association of the Republic of China (ROC).
Before her appointment to her current position in Bank of Taiwan in July 2008, Mrs. Chang was Administrative Vice Chairperson of the Financial Supervisory Commission. Prior to that, she was Deputy Director of the Economic Research Department at the Council for Economic Planning and Development. She also served at the Ministry of Finance in various capacities, the last one being Deputy Director of the Department of Monetary Affairs.
Mrs. Chang holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the National Taiwan University.
Mr. Rajendra Theagarajah
Rajendra Theagarajah is an Alumni of Price Waterhouse Coopers Sri Lanka. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. Having obtained an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, UK, he joined the Chase Manhattan Bank (now known as JP Morgan Chase) in London and obtained extensive experience in Internal control systems, Branch operations, Global Custody and Treasury management within the bankˇ¦s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region. He returned in Sri Lanka in 1992 and joined the Colombo Branch of Banque Indosuez (now part of the CALYON Group) and served as its Deputy General Manager and continued as a member of HNBs Corporate management team after the takeover of Indosuez Colombo by HNB in 1997. Today he serves as the Managing Director of Hatton National Bank (since December 2004), and also is in the boards of all its subsidiary companies. Mr Theagarajah is a Past President of the Association of Professional Bankers in Sri Lanka and serves as the current chairman of Sri Lanka Banks Association. During his tenure as CEO, HNB received the prestigious ˇ§Brackenˇ¨ award naming Hatton National Bank as the Bank of the year 2006 for Sri Lanka and was also recognized by the Asian Banker as the Ratail Bank of the Year in Sri Lanka 2008. Earlier this year Mr Theagarajah was profiled as one of 25 Bank CEOˇ¦s in the Wileys publication ˇ§Asiaˇ¦s Banking CEOsˇ¨-The future of finance in Asia (a collection of profiles of leaders who have guided some of the most successful Banks in the worlds most dynamic region of Asia). He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the board of directors of The Asian Banks Association and chairs its sub committee on ˇ§Convergence towards IFRSˇ¨.
