Mr. Liu, Teng-Cheng took up the position of Chairman of Taiwan Financial Holdings Company as well as Bank of Taiwan in July 2012. He is also incumbent Chairman of the Bankers Association in Taiwan.
Mr. Liu has 40 years of financial and banking experience in public and private sectors. He worked at several offices of Taiwan Provincial Government, including Legal Affairs Committee, Land Administration Office, and Department of Finance from 1974 to 1999. After Taiwan Provincial Government was reinvented, he was Counselor, Ministry of Finance (MOF) as well as Adjunct Director of the Central Taiwan Office from 1999 to 2000; Director-General, Training Institute, MOF from 2000 to 2002; Director-General, National Treasury Agency, MOF from 2002 to 2006; Administrative Deputy Minister, MOF from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Liu was appointed as Chairman of Taiwan Cooperative Bank in 2008, and Chairman of Taiwan Cooperative Holdings Company when it was established in 2011 under the leadership of Mr. Liu.
Mr. Liu was graduated from National Taiwan University with a Bachelor degree in Law and a Master degree in International Business.
