2018 ABA Conference to be held in Maldives

Malé – The Asian Bankers Association wish to inform all ABA members that 2018 35th ABA General Meeting and Conference will be hosted by the Bank of Maldives.

The change in venue was decided by the ABA Board after taking into account recent geopolitical developments in the United States and the Middle East. Nevertheless, the Board is still looking at the possibility of holding the 2019 ABA Conference in Iran.

Bank of Maldives, under the guidance of its CEO and Managing Director Mr. Andrew Healy, has a long history of active participation in ABA activities, training programs and conferences.

The Bank of Maldives will be briefing members on preparations for next year’s gathering at the upcoming 34th ABA General Meeting and Conference scheduled to take place on November 16-17, 2017 in Mumbai, India.
