The Qorus Reinvent Forum Bangkok 2025, held on 19–20 February 2025, brought together leading bankers, insurers, fintech innovators, and industrialists from Europe, Southeast Asia, India, and Australia. Over two dynamic days, participants explored the future of financial services through keynote speeches, panel discussions, case studies, and interactive workshops.
Central themes included digital transformation, customer experience, ESG and sustainability, AI-driven innovation, and cross-industry collaboration. A highlight of the event was the Qorus Reinvention Awards – APAC, hosted by AWS, which recognized groundbreaking initiatives in the region’s financial services sector.
Day One – 19 February 2025
The first day centered on emerging trends and innovation in financial services. Opening with a keynote on payment transformation by Pariwat Kanithasen, discussions quickly turned to how technology and customer expectations are reshaping the industry. A high-level panel featuring leaders from Lightnet Group and AIA, moderated by Mig Moreno, examined the role of AI, sustainability, and customer-centric growth strategies. Som Wairaksat (ASW) emphasized cultivating a culture of innovation, while David Jimenez Maireles (D19 Advisory) called on banks to design experiences rather than simply build digital systems.
Case studies from Alliance Bank and Brac Bank showcased practical applications of innovation, followed by the Qorus Reinvention Awards – APAC Ceremony, which celebrated outstanding projects making a real impact across the region.
Day Two – 20 February 2025
The second day expanded the conversation to beyond banking, ESG, and mobility solutions. After welcome remarks from John Berry, Jean-Marc Pailhol (Allianz Partners) delivered a keynote on reinventing value propositions in a digital-first world. Theresa Lin (Cathay Life) demonstrated how AI-driven claims management and health risk prediction can improve efficiency and customer outcomes, while Zubair Ahmed (Veripark) presented a report on the evolution of SME banking. Jon Blakeney (I AM) highlighted the role of physical financial spaces in a digital age, and a panel featuring D19 Advisory, SCB, and Cyberbeat emphasized collaboration and customer transformation.
Later sessions included Tareef Jafferi (Happily.ai) on people analytics and ESG, and a Mobility Meet-Up with Allianz Partners, Tencent, and other leaders discussing Mobility-as-a-Service, EVs, and autonomous vehicles. The day concluded with a networking dinner, reinforcing the importance of partnership and exchange.
The forum demonstrated how APAC is driving global financial transformation, with innovation, AI, ESG, and cross-industry collaboration at the forefront.
