Mr. Seyed Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi (Ph.D), born on September 21, 1979, in Tehran, is a distinguished Iranian economist and senior banking executive. He is recognized as a National Scientific Elite by the National Elites Foundation. Mr. Ahmadi holds a Ph.D in Economics from the Islamic Azad University (Science and Research Branch), a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Shahid Beheshti University.

He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Bank Shahr, a position he has held since 2021 following his earlier role as Deputy CEO from 2020 to 2021. His presence in senior management positions have been marked as the most glorious in Bank Shahr growth as proven by the figures presented in the financial statement over the mentioned period.

Since 2014, he has also been a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors. His professional background further includes services as a CEO Consultant of Bank Parsian (2013–2014), and a faculty member in the Departments of Accounting and Economics at the Islamic Azad University, North Tehran Branch.

In addition to his executive roles, Mr. Ahmadi is an active member of the High Council of Economics and Knowledge-Based Investment of the Islamic Azad University. His corporate governance experience spans several leadership positions, including Chairmanship of the Boards of Shahr Leasing Company, Shahr International Trade Development Company, and Shahr Exchange Company.
