Webinar on Mongolian Banking’s status and opportunities

2018 1106 MBA logo 600The Asian Bankers Association (ABA) invites colleagues, partners and friends to participate in the webinar on “Mongolian Banking: Current status and opportunities” to be held on October 17, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Taipei time.

As the first of the webinars on “Connecting and Exploring Opportunities with ABA” series prior to this year’s virtual 38th ABA General Meeting and Conference, the October 17 webinar will be conducted by Mr. Lkhagvasuren Amar, CEO of the Mongolian Bankers Association (MBA).

This one-hour webinar will provide valuable information to bankers, investors and financial experts to explore and learn about the current status of the banking market in Mongolia and the opportunities available.

 

The topics for discussion include:

(1) MBA profile
(2) Key statistics (demographics, culture, GDP per capita)
(3) Financial & banking system (ex. types of banks, operational objectives, financial markets)
(4) International trade and foreign investment policy (fiscal and regulatory framework)
(5) Strengths (economic development, areas of economic growth, main branches of industry, investment infrastructure and business opportunities)
(6) Challenges ahead
