Invitation to join Virtual ABA Planning Committee Meeting on March 13, 2024

ABA wishes to invite ABA Officers and ABA Members to attend the upcoming ABA Planning Committee Meeting scheduled to take place virtually on March 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM, Taipei Time

To be chaired by ABA Chairman Mr. Morris Li, Chairman of CTBC Bank, the meeting will have the following primary objectives:

 

  1. To discuss preparations for the 40th ABA General Meeting and Conference to be held on November 18-19 in Taipei, Taiwan, with the CTBC Bank as host organization. Discussions will focus on the final dates and venue of the Conference, theme and topics for the Conference, suggested format and program, possible line-up of speakers, and other related matters.
  2. To review the program of ABA activities in 2024, including the 2024 Work Program of the ABA Policy Advocacy Committee

We will send further details on the meeting (e.g., annotated agenda, meeting link, discussion papers, etc.) when members have confirmed attendance. Kindly download Confirmation Form, and sending it back to us by March 8 if possible.

In this connection, we would like to seek suggestions on issues which are of current concern to members and the banking sector of the region as a whole, and should be discussed by members during our 2024 Conference. Please let us know themes by accomplishing the Suggestion Form and returning it to us through our e-mail address at aba@aba.org.tw

We would appreciate hearing from you by March 8 if possible, to circulate all suggestions to the Planning Committee for consideration prior to its meeting.
