ABA partners with Brink Asia & McLennan Companies

Taipei – Given the diversity in business practices, customs and cultures among countries in the region, the ABA recognizes the need to develop and implement an information exchange program which strengthens communication and encourages the dissemination of information among ABA member banks.

To achieve this objective, the ABA has established links with other organizations that can serve as its Knowledge Partners in providing information and other resources that may be useful to or of interest to members banks, and are deemed to represent the best and the brightest contributors to shared knowledge surrounding the banking and finance industry.

One such new knowledge partner of the ABA is Brink Asia, which is the daily digital news services of March and McLennan Companies, a global professional services firm that brings together the unique capabilities of Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Mercer and the Oliver Wyman Group. Brink Asia gathers timely perspectives from experts on the topics of risk and to inform business and policy decisions on critical challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. They have agreed to provide the articles, tips and tools that may be helpful to member banks.

Attached herewith is a one-page flyer containing more information about Brink Asia, the range of topics covered by its articles, and how to access these articles on a daily basis. A selection of these articles are also uploaded regularly on to the ABA website at www.aba.org.tw under “Knowledge Partners” section.

ABA encourages its members to check the resources of Brink Asia and what it can offer in terms of the most up to date, real world experiences and expertise to the banking industry.
