Asia Sustainable Finance Initiative (ASFI) launched

Singapore – ABA is pleased to convey to all ABA members the invitation of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Singapore to the Launch of the Asia Sustainable Finance Initiative (ASFI) on January 21, 2019 in Singapore.

Launched by WWF-Singapore as part of a group of 10 science-based Knowledge Partners, the ASFI aims to support the shift to resilient economies and to ensure that financial institutions are equipped with the right tools and knowledge to manage sustainability and climate-related risks and opportunities.

The multi-stakeholder forum brings together industry, government, academia and knowledge-based organizations to support financial institutions in deepening their sustainable finance expertise.

We published the invitation letter from WWF Singapore and additional information below concerning the ASFI.
